I don’t really see a need to throw this stuff in diesel fuel, really the only additive you’d want is if you live in a place that gets sub-0 temps often enough to put in a anti-gel agent. So gas kinda breeds corrosion along with the ethanol that’s in fuel now. Gas kind of acts as an evaporative and drying agent, similar to alcohol. It might’ve cleared up in its own but I’m certain it sped up the process.Īs for Diesel engines, the fuel has an oily property to it that gasoline doesn’t have. Anyway started getting a misfire, changed out the filter still had a misfire then through some Lucas to break up the dirt in the injectors and that got it running on all 4 again.
